Touch Mode is used on touchscreen devices to make it easier to select items with your finger. To turn off Touch Mode and make the 'handles' on items smaller:
Tap on the Settings cog in your plan's top toolbar.
Tap on the Device tab.
Select the Touch Mode checkbox.
Scroll down and click on Save Device Settings.
