With Figo you don't just arrange your train travel, shared cars and business expenses, you can also quickly grab a Check scooter whenever you need one. Thanks to our integration with Check, you can reserve, unlock and end a scooter ride directly from the Figo app, without switching between multiple apps or accounts.
What is Check?
Check is a provider of shared electric scooters available in a growing number of Dutch cities. Coverage is expanding continuously and currently includes more than fifteen cities, such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg and Amersfoort. For the most up-to-date list of cities, visit the Check website or check the Figo app itself.
Why use Check for business travel?
A Check scooter is ideal for getting around the city quickly during your workday, and especially for the last mile. A few typical scenarios:
You arrive at a train station and still need to cover a few kilometres to reach a client meeting. Instead of waiting for a tram or taxi, you hop on a scooter and arrive within minutes.
You have several meetings in the same city on one day and want to move flexibly between them, without worrying about parking.
You want to avoid traffic jams and travel sustainably — Check scooters are fully electric.
In short: fast, flexible and no hunting for a parking spot.
How does the integration with Figo work?
Because Check is fully integrated into the Figo app, you don't need to install a separate Check app or create an additional account. From the Figo app you can:
View available Check scooters nearby on the map
Reserve a scooter
Start your trip (unlock the scooter)
End your trip and park the scooter properly
All trips are registered as business trips by default and are automatically included in your mobility overview and expense reporting within Figo. No loose receipts, no manual admin afterwards.
Want to ride privately too? That's possible
Would you also like to use a Check scooter for personal trips — for example in the weekend or after work? You can add your own payment details in the Figo app. Personal trips will then be charged directly to your own account, while business trips continue to run through Figo. This keeps business and personal travel neatly separated within a single app.
Availability within your organisation
Whether you can book Check scooters through Figo depends on the mobility settings configured by your employer. Some organisations make Check available to all employees, while others enable it only for specific teams or roles.
Don't see Check in your Figo app? Get in touch with your HR or mobility administrator to ask whether the option can be activated for you.
Good to know
To ride a Check scooter you need a valid driving licence (A, AM or B) and you must be at least 18 years old. Before your first trip, upload your driving licence for verification.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Every scooter contains two helmets and hairnets in the top case.
Always park your scooter correctly and out of the way, so that the next user can take over without trouble.
Sometimes the scooter's GPS can fall just outside the zone. In that case, try moving the scooter. If that still doesn't work, contact support@figo.app and let us know exactly what time you ended your trip. We'll make sure it gets sorted out.
