Size Guides

Find your fit for bras and bottoms.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Perfect lingerie needs to have the perfect fit. Our expert fitters at Eshi have produced this guide to help you find your size.

Please note, these are guidelines only.

Bra Size Measurements

Finding your bra size involves two elements: finding what band size you require and what cup size you require. We will take you through the most effective ways to measure your body to discover both. Once you know your sizes, you will be able to select your Eshi bras with both the correct band and cup size to give you the perfect fit.

How to find your band size:

  • Bringing your tape measure around your back, firstly, lay it at the point where you would normally have your bra band resting.

  • Wrap the tape around to the front of your body, bringing the tape under the breasts, so it sits level the whole way round and against your ribs rather than across any breast tissue.

  • Ensure the tape measure is going around the whole of your body and meeting together, take this number as your band measurement.

  • This is your band size. If you land on an odd number, round it down to the closest even number for the most accurate fit.

How to find your cup size:

  • Firstly, you need to know your band size (see above) and your bust size.

  • To find your bust size, bring your tape measure around your back to where you would normally have your bra band resting. Then measure around your body at the fullest part of your bust. So, the tape should be going across your breasts this time. Leave half an inch of leeway between the tape and your body.

  • This is your bust measurement.

  • To get your cup size, you must subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. This number will correspond with a letter to identify what cup size you will need. See the table below for reference:

Bottoms Size Measurements

Discovering the perfect fit for your bottoms is simple. It's all about your hip and waist measurements and comparing these to our reference table to find your size.

How to find your size in bottoms:

  • For your waist, bring the tape measure around the narrowest part of your waistline. From across your back, meeting over your stomach to give you the number of where the tape crosses. Ensure the tape goes around the full circumference of your body, sitting flat and untwisted against your skin.

  • For your hips, measure around the fullest point of your hips. Again, going around the full body, allowing the tape to cross and noting the number.

  • This is your sizing for your bottoms. Refer to our table to discover what UK size your measurements correspond to.
