Other Features

Accessibility

  • The Help button now supports screen readers and keyboard navigation

  • Fixed an issue where the characters ā€œ&nbspā€ would appear before some field labels.

  • The session time-out now works across multiple tabs. You will no longer get warnings that you will be signed out in one tab if you are working in another

  • A notification appears when a user successfully deletes from single record user table

  • Fixed an issue where the timeout message would display the incorrect number of seconds before the user is signed out

  • The standard Tasks and Reminders widget now supports screen readers and keyboard navigation

  • The available Dashboard Layouts submenu now supports screen readers

  • Keyboard focus is now visible throughout AssignmentPro, improving accessibility for users who use the keyboard to navigate and interact with the system

  • AssignmentPro menus now have ARIA tags to support use of screen readers

  • The Username, Password, and Device Authorization Code fields on the Sign In page now have proper labels to support the use of screen readers

  • Some text colors were changed to improve readability and meet accessibility standards

  • Screen reader support has been added to type-ahead fields in AssignmentPro

  • A notification will now appear on the screen when a record is deleted

  • User pages now have ARIA tags to support the use of screen readers

  • The global search field now supports keyboard-only navigation

  • The View Details link of summary widgets now contains an aria-label with the widget title to assist users who rely on screen reader technology

Assignment Details

  • The Employee Flexible Header Import now supports the following Custom Field Tables:

    • ASSIGNMENT_DEPENDENT_CF

    • SPOUSE_DOMESTIC_PARTNER_CF

    • ASSIGNMENT_MAILING_ADDRESS_CF

    • RELOCATION_SCREEN_CONTACT_CF

    • COMPENSATION_DATA_REPOSITORY_CF

    • RELOCATION_POLICY_FIELD_EXCEPTION_CF

Assignment Packages

  • Enhanced Assignment Packages batches to fully respect user’s assignment rights

AssignmentPro APIs

  • People API subscribers now have access to update the source system and source system key for the training table

Authorizations

  • The ability to set a custom Effective Date for Assignment Packages has been removed for Authorization Templates that do not have Assignment Package automatic Create And Build enabled

  • Fixed an issue where Assignment Packages with certain configurations were not automatically created upon request

  • Increased the size of the From Title and To Title fields from 50 to 150 characters. This was done on both the Assignment (Assignment table) and Authorization (Auth_Stage_Assignment table) pages. This will allow for the entry and storage of longer job titles

Business Rules

  • User Tables can no longer be deleted when referenced by BEST components such as Business Rules, Checklists, Quick Workflows and Pulse Checks

  • Fixed an issue when creating a table lookup using a custom field in the output column prevented existing table lookups from being selected, run or copied

  • Fixed an issue where certain lookup fields when used for comparisons would display incorrect lookup values

  • Fixed an issue when saving and running a Business Rule within a company context generated no results if the user did not have access to all assignments

  • When adding a date fixed value in Business Rules, the format now respects browser or computer regional settings

  • Enhancements in the BEST metadata dataset structure supports 2 new fields: What-If Cost Estimate: Salary Grade and What-If Cost Estimate: Relocation Policy, to be used in fields inside the Company-context Business Rules

Checklists

  • Added a copy button to the Checklist Template screen to perform a copy of the checklist template details and associated checklist items

  • Fixed an issue where checklist would generate an error when associated with a reminder and saved

Compensation Calculations

  • Compensation/Custom Calculations/Business Rules field is now a type-ahead search drop-down on the Cost Estimate and Compensation Calculation Template Line Item screens. Added a link to allow for quick navigation to the selected Custom Calculation or Business Rules

Compensation Worksheets

  • Fixed an issue where the One Time Payment flag was removed from all Compensation Worksheet Template line items when copying the template

Configuration Enhancements

  • Improved the Data Dictionary Field Override feature to not allow a duplicate record, and delete any existing duplicates. This will eliminate errors that can occur when the system encounters the unexpected duplicates

Cost Estimates

  • Compensation/Custom Calculations/Business Rules field is now a type-ahead search drop-down on the Cost Estimate and Compensation Calculation Template Line Item screens. Added a link to allow for quick navigation to the selected Custom Calculation or Business Rules

  • Fixed an issue when opening the Cost Estimate Calculation Detail Report, some line items had extremely small numbers displayed in exponentiation notation and was prompting an error

  • New report ā€œCost Estimate Line Item Hypo Tax Calculation Detailā€ is now available providing a calculation breakdown for a selected Expat4Cast Line item

Dashboards

  • On dashboard pages, the ā€œSkip to Main Contentā€ link now takes users to the first widget on the page

  • Added a copy button to the internal Dashboard Layouts screen to perform a copy of the dashboard layout

Expense Entry

  • Fixed an issue that caused the New Voucher button to not appear on the Expense Summary page

Landing Experience

  • Fixed an issue where the dashboard background was not being darkened when expanding a widget

  • Landing Experience dashboards can now be assigned to security roles. Users will see their assigned dashboard when logging in

  • Landing Experience dashboards now have a control that allows internal users to easily switch between dashboard associated with the same page

  • Users viewing a Landing Experience Dashboard now have a control to log out, change their password and navigate to the User Preferences page

  • Fixed an issue where the Word Cloud widget did not require a User Report

  • Internal users can set a default login Landing Experience dashboard. All internal dashboards are supported including ones assigned to specific company pages Landing Experience dashboards now have a setting to enable a search box that allows users to search for pages, assignments, reports, and more

  • Landing Experience Dashboards now support displaying a logo and an upper menu for better branding, easier navigation and generally allowing dashboards to look more familiar to internal users

  • A Tasks And Reminders widget now exists to show users details about their assigned tasks and task-related reminders allowing them to complete those items from the dashboard. Internal users that are Resources can also see the tasks of other Resources

  • The Exceptions Pending My Approval and Exceptions By Policy & Category widgets now contain links to view details of individual records

  • A new Make A Request widget exists that separates and enhances request workflows when compared to the Take Action widget. More request types and request help text are now supported

Mobile Employee Experience

  • Converted User Report field in the Benefits & Services tab of the Employee Experience Configuration screen to a type-ahead search drop-down and with an added link to the selected user report

  • Fixed an issue where the Login/Password Rules were not displaying in the ā€˜Change Password’ section of the Employee Profile page

  • Fixed an issue where some documents when set to Employee Visible = Yes, were visible on the Documents screen but could not be downloaded by employees

Production Reports

  • Converted Merge Document field on the Production Reports screen to a type-ahead search drop-down with an added link to the selected Merge Document

Quick Workflows

  • Added Multi Move Voucher as a data source to support Quick Workflows triggering off a multi move voucher

Request Types

  • Added a copy button to the Request Types screen for non-preconfigured request types to perform a copy of the current request type record

Resource Change Batches

  • The Resource Change Batch now warns users when assigning tasks to an inactive Resource

Resource Rulesets

  • Resources can automatically be assigned to assignments using the new resource ruleset. Rules can be configured on the new Resource Allocation Ruleset screen. User will automatically be assigned the same user security as they have in place for company level assignment policy screen

Resources

  • Converted User Id field on the Resources screen to a type-ahead search drop-down with an added link to allow for quick navigation to the selected user

Security Enhancements

  • As a standard process, Equus fixes vulnerabilities found through testing and analysis. For this release, a few enhancements have been made to address findings

  • Restricted uploading documents including contents of compressed (zipped) files to only certain file extensions and added file signature validation.

  • Certain fields can now be marked as Private on the Data Encryption and Security page. Private field data is hidden from users unless specifically granted in a user’s Security Role. For more information on the list of fields that support Private/Encryption please visit this Help Center article

Single Sign On (SSO)

  • Upgrade path script to correct all user IDP information to the default IDP as stated on the Web Config file

  • Employee creation on the Authorization screen will not present options to allow the user to select IDP for the new Employee

System Preferences

  • Added a new Upload MS Office Password Protected and Compressed Files system preference. This preference is shipped out as ā€œNoā€ by default meaning that validated files, password protected and compressed files with extension types not found on the Acceptance List cannot be uploaded into the system

Tax Assistance

  • Fixed an issue where the text ā€œTax Year Idā€ appeared unnecessarily before each tax year on the Tax Assistance page

  • Fixed an issue where having the same state in the Departure Work State and Destination Work State fields generated incorrect State Gross Wages values in the US Tax Calc Batch Report

  • Fixed an issue where the Relocation System Number (RSNO) was being read as the Assignment ID (ASID) on the Wage Feed import

User Maintenance

  • Fixed an issue when the new SSO Flag tooltip was being shown even if the user type did not have rights to run SSO (API Subscriber)

  • Converted Security Role field on the User Maintenance screen to a type-ahead search drop-down with an added link to allow for quick navigation to the selected Security Role

User Report Types

  • New reference section on the User Report Types screen listing all user reports using the user report type on screen

User Reports

  • Fixed an issue where running a user report as Excel Data (.xls format) would incorrectly include the report title in the first row when the ā€œEnable Excel Data User Reports and Payroll Reports options to run with the old formatsā€ system preference was set

User Tables

  • Fixed an issue when the Duplication At Authorization Level checkbox was ticked on an existing assignment level user table, a new authorization level user table was not created

  • Fixed an issue where the Physical Name instead of the Display Name was used for an authorization level user table when created as part of adding a new assignment level user table

  • Fixed an issue when changing the display name of a user table caused metadata inconsistencies

What-If Cost Estimates

  • Fixed an issue where What If Cost Estimates would fail to generate if either the Home or Host Country name (or State name if applicable) contain more than 20 characters
