When viewing the situational rules on the Election Details screen, you may encounter conditions appearing in the Situational Rules section that do not apply to that election set. This is likely to occur when the [Copy] button was used to create new records and where the Is Situational Election checkbox was ticked on the Election Details screen. When changes are made to the situational rules in the copied record, these changes are automatically reflected in the record that it was copied from and vice versa. Changes include adding new conditions, editing existing conditions including deleting conditions.

A workaround will be made available in a future release. It is recommended to use the [Copy] button with caution and to refrain from using the buttons which are found on the Election Set Template Details and Election Details screen, if the Is Situational Election checkbox is ticked for any of the Elections.

The [Copy] buttons are found on two screens:

When the [Copy] button is used on the Election Set Template Details screen, all changes made on the screen are saved and a copy of the election set and all of its elections and all of related choices are included. The screen refreshes and displays the new record with "(Copy)" appended to Internal Name.
