What determines the Global Statement of Earnings Template to use for the GSOE Report?

When a Global Statement of Earnings (GSOE) report is run, AssignmentPro uses the value selected from Currency to Display on Report parameter and looks for the applicable GSOE template in the following order:

  1. Company-level GSOE template with a matching country

  2. Company-level GSOE template with no country specified

  3. System-level GSOE template with a matching country

  4. System-level GSOE template with no country specified

The values that can be selected for the Currency to Display on Report parameter are:

Primary Payroll System

AssignmentPro checks which payroll system is marked as Primary for the assignment. The fields of interest are on the Assignment screen.

AssignmentPro then looks at the configuration of that payroll system to determine what the country is for that payroll system. The configuration of payroll system is made on the Payroll Systems screen at the company level.

AssignmentPro uses the identified primary payroll system country to compare against the various GSOE templates configured in the order described earlier.

Secondary Payroll System

AssignmentPro checks which payroll system is not marked as Primary for the assignment (i.e., secondary payroll system). The fields of interest are on the Assignment screen.

AssignmentPro then looks at the configuration of that payroll system to determine what the country is for that payroll system. The configuration of payroll system is made on the Payroll Systems screen at the company level.

AssignmentPro uses the identified non-primary payroll system country to compare against the various GSOE templates configured in the order described earlier.

System Currency

AssignmentPro checks the System Country System Preference value (code SYSTEMCTRY). This value is found on the System Preference screen in the power user mode. Contact your Equus Client Solutions Manager for details about power user mode.

AssignmentPro uses the identified country from the 3 digit country code to compare against the various GSOE templates configured in the order described earlier.

Company Currency

AssignmentPro checks the Base Country value configured for the company where the GSOE is being run from. This field is located on the Company screen.

AssignmentPro uses the identified company base country to compare against the various GSOE templates configured in the order described earlier.

Home Currency (Pay Register Only)

AssignmentPro checks the From Country value for that assignment.

AssignmentPro uses the identified home country for that assignment to compare against the various GSOE templates configured in the order described earlier.

Host Currency (Pay Register Only)

AssignmentPro checks the To Country value for that assignment.
