Internal users who have not opted in to share their name and email address with the Help Center provider will be presented with a pop-up message when clicking on the question mark icon in the upper right- hand corner of an internal Landing Experience Dashboard or on the pulsing blue dot besides the Help Center button of any internal Equus Platform page.
Note - the blue pulsing dot only appears when a user has not activated the Help Center.
After clicking the button a Help Center Access pop up window will appear. Click
to proceed with accessing the Help Center.
If access is successful, the following Help Center article appears.
When the Help center is activated, the User Maintenance screen for the user is updated. The Has Opted In To Help Portal checkbox is visible when the user first agrees to sharing their name and email address to Zendesk (Help Center Provider). Users wishing to opt out afterwards can have their record updated by unticking the checkbox on the User Maintenance screen by an internal user.
