Service Types are used to track orders made for Services in the system. A pre-defined list of Service Types is available in the Equus Platform. Each Service Type can have an Equus Platform screen associated with it. Additional Service Types can be added using the System Lookup Maintenance Screen. Service Types are also known as “Service Order Types”.

After a Service Type is added to the system, it appears in Service Order Type choice lists throughout the system.\

At the bottom of the screen, custom Service Types can be mapped to standard Service Types, to allow custom Service Types to function like the Equus-delivered ones they are mapped to.
