Configuring the Quick Workflow Event History User Report

You can create the user report type and user report accordingly:

Set the Base table as Quick Workflow Event History:

Add the following fields shown in the image below

The following fields can be used for the said report:

Id: The Id of the Quick Workflow History record. (Note - Not the Quick Workflow ID.)

Workflow Ers Event Definition Id: Id of the Quick Workflow

Vendor Integration Subscription Id: Workflow ID for a vendor integration event

Quick Workflows can be built from Data Types Assignment, Company, or Authorization. The ID that triggered Quick Workflow will be recorded in on the following columns:

  • Company Id: Id of the Company that triggered Quick Workflow

  • Assignment Id: Id of the Assignment that triggered Quick Workflow

  • Authorization Id: Id of the Authorization that triggered Quick Workflow

Quick Workflows can be configured to Take Action based off of a Target Field. The following fields log information on the Target Field that triggered Quick Workflow. In this example, Quick Workflow would log information on the Assignment Coordinator.

  • Triggered Table Name: Name of the table for the Target Field

  • Triggered Record Id: Id of the Target Field record that triggered Quick Workflow

  • Triggered Record Last Update By: The User who changed the Target Field that triggered Quick Workflow

  • Triggered Record Last Update Date: The date the User changed the Target Field that triggered Quick Workflow

  • Trigger Type: Logs whether the Quick Workflow was triggered by a Target Field Value Changes or When Target Date Passes

  • Data Change Create Date: The date and time of when a Quick Workflow was changed or when a Vendor Integration record was changed

  • Processing Start Date: The date and time of when the Quick Workflow record started

  • Complete Date: The data and time of when the Quick Workflow record completed

  • Advance Automation Batch Id: The batch Id for Advance Automation

  • Create Date: When the Workflow Event History record was created

  • Last Update By: Records whether the Quick Workflow was triggered by Quick Workflow or Vendor Integration

  • Last Update Date: When the Workflow Event History record was last updated

Turning on Quick Workflow Logging

Quick Workflow logging can be turned on by a power user on the System Preference page. This System Preference: Quick Workflow / Event Response System Metrics with the Code Filter: EQLOGERSON needs to be set to Yes. Please speak to your Equus Representative to turn on the preference.

Things to note

  • Quick Workflow logging is defaulted to be turned off as it may impact site performance. We recommend turning it on when troubleshooting is needed.

  • By default, the report will return no logs. Once turned on, logs are available through user reports whether its on or off
