Turning the Mobile Employee Experience (MEE) on for all External Employee and External Delegate user types can be done at the configuration level at the Portal Configuration screen on the Employee Experience tab. Simply uncheck the Inactive tick box and click

Activate MEE

Doing so automatically applies the “Equus – Employee Experience” role to each existing user of the User Types <External Employee> and <External Employee Delegate>. The role includes default Data Sensitivity Access and Field Decryption Rights, which may be changed using the Security Role Maintenance hyperlink in the Advanced Settings section.

The Security Role Maintenance hyperlink does not display immediately after activating the MEE. For this to display, refresh the system cache or navigate away from the screen, then re-open the screen.

Note that this role does not exist until the MEE is active; therefore, the System Administrator may want to uncheck the Inactive check box, click

, and then immediately check it again to complete the necessary role configuration before officially turning it on.
