The Learn About Host Country card displays generic, third-party information to employees about their host countries. This information allows employees to learn about their host countries at their convenience from a reliable source, so that they can feel comfortable about their host country as quickly as possible. The country information is updated with the newest available information from the 3rd party provider every Saturday at 23:00 server time.
The feature includes both a card on the Mobile Employee Experience (MEE) as well as screen in the Equus Platform to allow review by the mobility team. The card will only display when all of the following are true:
the license for the feature has been applied for it to appear on both the MEE and in the Equus Platform
the employee’s host country is in the third-party data set and the data set has been downloaded into the company’s database, and
the Equus Platform administrator has activated the card on the MEE. By default, the MEE ships with the card set to inactive.

Depending on the settings, Learn About (Host Country Name) may appear both as a portal card and/or as a menu item in the navigation menu.
The Learn About (Host Country Name) modal appears for the assignment host country.
Information is organized by Topics. Clicking on a Topic may display the text associate with that Topic or display a lists of Sub Topics. At the bottom of a Topic, click the <Next Topic> button to display the next Topic in sequence. The button name will be the name of the next topic.
The country information can be viewed by the Equus Platform users on the Learn About Host Country screen by navigating to the Learn About Host Country menu item. Select the country to be viewed from the Select A Country choice list.
Navigate through the Topics by clicking on

icons. Note that this screen does not support custom fields, since it is not a data entry screen.
In order to view the Learn about Host Country screen in Assignment, users must be assigned a role that has both View and Edit rights to the screen for the screen to be fully functional.
