Equus Platform menu items can be customized. You can do the following:
In most cases, items that appear on the left-hand side menu bar are controlled from the Menu Item Overrides screen. There are certain menu items that can be controlled using the System Preference screen such as the Help Center.
Update Security Role
In order to have access to the Menu Item Override screen, users must be associated with a role that gives them access to the screen.
Navigate to the Menu Item Override screen and find the menu item name. You can click
to edit or click the
to create a new entry. Note, make sure only one override is active.
Update Menu Caption
In the Menu Item Override screen, change the caption to match your company's terminologies.
Note - If a user has access view access rights to a screen associated to a hidden menu item, the associated screen appears in the Configuration search. User's access to screens must be configured properly using the Security Role Maintenance screen and not through hiding menu items in general.
Change Sequence
In the Menu Item Override screen, you can change the sequence of the menu or the menu group it is included.
Hide/Unhide Menu
In the Menu Item Override screen, tick the inactive checkbox to hide a currently visible Menu Item. To make the Menu Item visible on screen, untick the "Inactive" box.
Click
