Title

Title of the widget

"No Data Available" Message

This is the message that users will see in place of the widget when no data is found.

User Report

Select the user report for the data that the widget should display.

Use Container

A box is created for the widget. By default, this is ticked.

Enhanced Grid

Allows the column headers to be selected on the widget for sorting of data.

Show Column Headers

Show or hide the column headers in the widget.

Header Visible

When ticked, the following fields appear: Header Display Type, Header Text, Header Report and Header No Records Message.

Footer Visible

When ticked, the following fields appear: Footer Display Type, Footer Text, Footer User Report and Footer No Records Message.

A footer can optionally added to a report that allows users to view the full details of the selected user report. This appears as the View Details link on the bottom of the widget.

Sticky Header and Footer

Forces the table header and footer to be always visible when the table is scrolled. Setting this to false may resolve issues with displaying HTML elements inside of Data widget types,.

Cache Number of Hours Override

This is how many hours the data will be cached and will override any value entered on the Dashboard configuration page. Enter 0 (zero) for no caching.

Hide As of Date and Refresh Icon

This will hide the Date and Time and also the Refresh Icon from Widgets on the dashboard This is useful for widgets that are static and don't need to be refreshed by the User.

Things to Note

  • HTML / Bootstrap

    • Similar construction to a table widget

    • Allows you to use HTML / Bootstrap functionality

    • Allows data formatting - colors, links, borders, etc.

    • Cannot use Javascript
