This widget will show the number of Assignments created per policy for the current year, through the current date, grouped by quarter. The quarters listed include the current and prior 3 quarters. In the above example, the current quarter is 2014 Q4; were the current quarter 2015 Q2, then the listed quarters would be 2014 Q3, 2014 Q4, 2015 Q1, and 2015 Q2. This widget excludes any assignments where a policy has not been assigned and also any assignments that are in a cancelled status. Note that only the first (alphabetically sorted) 20 policies with data are shown. The Assignments by Policy by Quarter Widget will include counts for assignments irrespective of user/assignment rights.
Which quarter each assignment falls into on the widget is determined by the Assignment Start Date unless the system preference (WDGASTRMOD) is enabled to use Assignment Effective Date. If the system preference is set to use the Assignment Effective Date and an effective date does not exist, then Assignment Start Date will be used. If the system preference is set to use Assignment Start Date and a start date does not exist then Assignment Effective Date will be used. If both the Assignment Effective Date and the Assignment Start Date are blank for the Assignment then the Assignment will not be included in the widget.
Clicking the View Details link will generate a report in HTML that shows all the Assignments (per the user’s security rights) giving detailed information including Assignment Policy, Quarter, System Number, Assignment Coordinator, Employee Last Name, Employee First Name, Assignment Status, Assignment Phase, From Country, To Country, Start Date, Assignment Effective Date, Scheduled End Date, Extended End Date and Actual End Date.
Clicking the View link in the Assignment column from within the detail report will open another window to the Assignment Detail page for the particular assignment selected.
