Election sets can be setup to automatically issue to employees. Automation is managed by Quick Workflow, thus allowing a high level of flexibility and detail in determining who and when employees receive an election set.
To create automation, the Quick Workflow must have a Data Type of Assignment. Once the Quick Workflow conditions are created, the election set actions are added under the Automation tab:
Two actions exist for automation:
“Create Election Set” automatically creates an Election Set when the trigger conditions are met.
“Create Election Set and Publish” automatically creates an Election Set and then automatically publishes the Election Set to the employee on the MEE.
For both actions, an Election Set Template must be specified. Note: A warning is displayed when the QWF is linked to an inactive Election Set template. For clients with more than one company, verify that the Template’s Company has a matching Company ID filter condition.
While setting up the Quick Workflow, it is possible to add notifications to be sent at the same time:
Banner Alert
An email will send an email (content and addressees entirely customizable).
Portal Notification
A portal notification will alert the employee to the task via the MEE. MEE users will see the notification when they click on the notifications bell icon.
