You can also create a new Assignment by copying data from an existing Assignment for the same employee.
You need to do the following to enable the
button.
To create a new Assignment via the copy method:
Select the Employees tab and search for the Employee whose Assignment you want to copy.
Browse to that Employees page.
Find the Assignment that you want to copy from the list of the Employee’s Assignments (pictured) and click the copy button.
At the prompt, confirm that you want to create a Copy of the Assignment.
If the Assignment System Number can be entered manually you will be prompted for the System number of the new Assignment. If the Assignment System Number is auto created you will not be prompted.
Once the copy is complete you will be shown the Assignment page for the newly created Assignment.
When creating a new assignment or authorization, if the employee has an existing assignment, the family data will copy from the existing assignment. These are the fields that are copied:
