Email entries in the Notes/Communication screen can be deleted by following these steps:
Click the (
) of the corresponding email record.
Click
on the Note/Communication Detail pop-up screen.
Note: A reminder will be displayed, stating that deleting the record will not recall the email that has been sent and confirming only the record is being deleted. Finally to confirm, click
.
Things to Note:
Email entries in the Notes/Communications screen that have already been sent out to the recipients cannot be deleted.
The copies or responses of entries in the Notes/Communications screen will need to be deleted first before parent note or email entries can be deleted. "This record has a child (either Copy or Response) Note/Communications attached and cannot be deleted" will appear in the case a note or email entry being deleted has copies or entries in the Notes/Communication screen
