After configuring an email template, navigate to the Service Order Settings screen.
Either click on
to create a new Service Order Type, or click on
to edit an existing Service Order Type record.
Note that the Service Order Settings screen is available at a system and company level.
Click on
to add as many rows as necessary to add more rows in the Email Templates Available section. Click on the Email Template field to select a value from the the drop down list.
A default email template for this Service Order type can also be designated by ticking the Default checkbox for one of the email templates. Press
after making changes.
Things to Note
If the Service Order Type's default email template (which includes email content and any attached merge documents) for the "Create Service Order and Send" Automation process in a Quick Workflow is backed by a user report (specified on the Email Template screen), only certain fields can be used as input parameters in the report. For more details see How to select which input parameter(s) to add to user reports for email templates.
