The Authorization Screen Available checkbox can be checked to allow the field to be completed on the Authorization screens. If selected, there is no need to go to the Authorization Override screen to add this field.

Custom fields for Authorizations can be created at the Assignment level. If the checkbox is checked, the custom field will appear on the Assignment tab of the Authorization wizard. The same can be done for Employee custom fields which will appear on the Employee tab of the Authorization wizard.

Once the [Update] or [Finalize Assignment] button is clicked on the Authorization, the data is transferred from the Authorization to the Assignment/shell (in most cases).
