In order for the requests feature to be visible on the portal, the user role must have security rights to the associated request pages and the page must be configured to display on the portal menu.

The role associated with the users with access to the requests feature must have security access to the following pages on the Security Role Maintenance page:

  • <Assignment Request History>

  • <Company Request History>

  • <Request> this is different from <Requests>

In order for the request feature to be available on the portal, the portal menu must be configured to include Assignment Requests. The following steps should be completed in order to add the associated request menu items:

Step 1. At the system level, add user access to the Assignment Request History, Company Request History, and Request pages for each applicable template on the Portal Page Configuration

Step 2. At the system or company level, add a menu item that points to the Company Request History page and one that points to the Assignment Request History. Additionally, the Request page should NOT be set up as a menu item. This page will open as a new window from the Request History pages or the New Request Widget.
