Things to note
When using Hierarchical Segment Levels the structure of the lookup group is that of a parent-child relationship and applies to the number of levels required. For example:
Segment Level 1 (Parent) and Segment Level 2 (Child)
Segment Level 2 (Parent) and Segment Level 3 (Child)
Segment Level 3 (Parent) and Segment Level 4 (Child)
Based on this structure it is not possible to have segment that is a Parent (e.g. Segment Level 3) to a segment that is a child (e.g. Segment Level 4) without the Parent being a child to its Parent (e.g. Segment Level 2).
Be aware, altering the setup of Company Segment Levels once configured can have wide ranging impacts. Contact your Equus representative if you have further questions.
