When the Business rule is configured and saved, the user can test it straightaway without having to navigate away from the business rules calculation screen without the need to add it to a cost estimate or compensation calculation
To run the Business Rule, click

button towards the bottom of the Business Rules Calculation screen. c. Click
to test the component without saving it. Click
to test and save changes to the component.
Select the appropriate context, enter a value where the function should run and click

The Context Selector modal now displays all the matched records based on the value entered in the Search Context field. Click on the
to select a record to run the business logic against.
When the Business Rule is executed, the final result is displayed in the Execution Result field. Beneath this field, a row exists for each configured step and specifies if the condition had an outcome of True or False and what happened as a result (e.g. Jumped to Step 1).
The final result is found in the final row / step of the grid. To run and test the logic on a different Assignment ID, Cost Estimate ID or a Cost Estimate Line Item ID, click

Things to Note
When using inputs from User Reports, you must first configure the template and run an actual Cost Estimate to test those inputs. If you click
, you will be prompted to manually enter values for testing purposes.
For multi-context Business Rules, a context must be selected from the Context Selector modal first.
Assignment Context - the rule can be run in the context of an Assignment, Cost Estimate or Cost Estimate Line Item.
Authorization Context - the rule can be run in the context of an Authorization, Benefit Set, Benefit Set Line Item
Company Context - the rule can be run in the context of a WICE or WICE Line Item
