Creating Cost Estimate at the Authorization Level

Cost Estimate can be included as a tab in the authorization process.  Note, this feature will only appear if you add the “Cost Estimate” step in the Authorization Template used by the assignment. C

Cost Estimate can be included as a tab in the authorization process.

Note, this feature will only appear if you add the “Cost Estimate” step in the Authorization Template used by the assignment.

Click the

pencil icon

to view details. You can include cost estimate questions, budget amount, documents and short description. This tab allows you to request a cost estimate and creates the assignment in the process.

Click the Go to Assignment Page link to create the actual cost estimate at the assignment level.

Things to Note

  • Cost Estimate questions are configured using custom prompts. You can set them at the request tab of the Authorization Template. You can set one for all template or customize them on each template.

  • The maximum number of request can be set in the Maximum Request field
