The Compensation Data Repository (CDR) allows fixed amounts to be recorded against an assignment and retrieved and used by a compensation worksheet. CDR values have no automated calculation attached, so are used when there is a known value to be applied. The CDR is often used for capturing one time or ad-hoc payments, overriding calculated amounts or instructing fixed values for large populations as it is very simple to import into.

The Compensation Data Repository screen is available at the Assignment Level and CDR entries can be standardized in a lookup. Individual line entries can manually added by clicking on the + icon or using the "Create CDR Entry" Quick Workflow Automation. Creating multiple line entries for the same assignment on a single event is possible when selecting the "Create CDR Entries" automation process.

The CDR can store one-time payments or recurring payments. The difference is that the total value for a one-time payment in the CDR will be instructed in a single pay period (whichever period it is effective in), while the recurring payment value will be an annualized figure divided by the number of pay periods. Users can control the preferred payment location for these entries, as well as track items that should be used only once on Compensation Worksheets.
