Step 8 of 18: Configure Refuge Spaces and Platforms

A2.8: Car Balustrade & Scaffoldings

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • Additional sill options are configured.

Steps

1.) Check the component visibility first. Refuge spaces and assembly platforms are not always switched on automatically in new view frames — check their component visibility in advance.

Car balustrade

2.) Display the car balustrade properties. Select the car in the drawing, then select the car balustrade object via the Breadcrumb window.

3.) Activate and select the car balustrade. Choose a component from the library.

4.) Configure the balustrade. Adjust it to your requirements via its properties.

Scaffoldings (assembly platforms)

5.) Display the assembly platforms. Activate them via the corresponding button in the Component Visibility ribbon group.

6.) Set the quantity. Set the number of platforms per floor via the Group and Shaft Configurator (setting extension).

7.) Check the location. By default, new platforms are placed under the entry, with a negative value.

8.) Place a platform in the shaft head. Set its height as a positive value.

Result

You can activate and configure a car balustrade, and add assembly platforms in the required quantity and position — including in the shaft head.
