Prerequisites
Tthe rail bracket is exchanged for a Rail bracket for concrete fixing.
Steps
Rail bracket fixing options
1.) Open the bracket list properties. Select any single bracket in the drawing, then select its parent object — the Bracket List — via the Breadcrumb window. This gives you the fixing options for all brackets.
2.) Choose a fixing option. Options are 1 Anchor Rail, 2 Anchor Rails, None, and Separator Beam (for shaft groups — see EL2 – Shaft Groups & High Rise).
3.) Set the anchor rail length. YES (default) uses the specified standard length from the database; NO lets you set the length manually. If you reactivate the standard lengths after a manual one, the closest fixed length is chosen.
4.) Adjust the anchor bolts. Set the bolts count, the distance from the corner, and the distance between bolts manually.
5.) Adjust the anchor rail position. Activate Design Mode and select the dimension in the current view frame — the dimension chain starts at the shaft base point. As soon as a dimension in the chain is edited, placement becomes exclusively manual.
Concrete beam for anchor rails
6) Activate the concrete beam. Activate it for the anchor rails. For the plan view representation, enable the section plane.
7.) Change the concrete beam's size and position. Adjust both via its properties. (For shaft materials and wall segments, see EL1 – Material Configuration & Steel Construction.)
8.) Set individual settings for single brackets. For a specific floor level, use the list object's grouping option to edit a bracket individually (see A1).
Result
You can configure rail bracket fixing options for all brackets at once — anchor rails, lengths, bolts, and position — override single brackets per floor, and add a concrete beam for the anchor rails.
