Prerequisites
Completed Steps 1–9 — your layer and style configuration is finished and tested.
Steps
1.) Keep prototype and layer configuration content inside the data pool directory. The prototype & layer configuration contents (the DWG file(s)) should always be stored inside the data pool directory.
2.) Register the module files in the database. Use the MODULE FILES table for the module export. Paths in the MODF_FILENAME column are always relative to the data pool directory.
3.) Share your data. The exported .ldm12 file is located under the Export folder in the current data pool — the usual local path is C:\MyDatapool\dcc\DataPool\data\Export.
Result
Your finished layer and style configuration is registered for export and available as a shareable .ldm12 file.
Tutorial complete
This was the final step of the B3 Prototype & Layer Configuration tutorial. You've prepared your own prototype DWG file (layers, dimension styles, text styles), configured a global layer configuration and a component-specific override, tested both in DigiPara Liftdesigner and AutoCAD, optionally integrated AutoCAD Mechanical layer groups, and distributed the finished configuration as a shareable module.
