This rule ties the tank's height and width to the dynamic property added in the previous step.
Prerequisites
The tank's dynamic property exists.
Steps
1.) Select the component and open the Rule Editor. Select the tank component you want to add the rule for, then open the Rule Editor in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Add a rule component, making sure the check mark for it is set.
2.) Add a new LDXRule and fill in a suitable description. Create the rule and give it a clear description.
3.) Define the rule type using PGR_MATRIX. Set up the rule's matrix type in the PGR_MATRIX field.
4.) Add a new assignment. Add an assignment row to the rule's matrix.
5.) Assign the parameters and define the values using the Project Tree — Assignment 1: different heights. Reference the dynamic property as the rule's condition, and define an assignment for different tank heights.
6.) Assign the parameters and define the values using the Project Tree — Assignment 2: different width. Add a second assignment for different tank widths.
7.) Add and define a new assignment regarding the profile height [S], then save and test. Add a further assignment for the profile's S (height) value, then save the dynamic rule into the database and close the Rule Editor. Test the new dynamic property and rule in DigiPara Liftdesigner.
Result
The tank's height, width, and profile height now respond automatically to the dynamic property, driven by the saved rule.
