Step 8 of 16: Define Sheet Groups and Link Frame Groups

B2.8: Define and customize first Sheet Groups

Written by Alexandra Göttert

This finishes the first, standalone DST configuration and loads it into Liftdesigner.

Prerequisites

  • The frame groups and their dynamic rules exist.

Steps

1.) Define a sheet group. Set the SHEET_NAME column to the path of your dynamic sheet template file in the data pool — enter the file name without the .lds ending. Optionally, set the SHEET_COUNTRY column to a country sign (e.g. UK or DE) if you're configuring the DST for different countries; leave it blank otherwise.

2.) Link the frame groups to the sheet group. If a frame group you just created doesn't appear in the SHEETIT_SHFRGRP_RID column, close and reopen the Sheet Group table once to refresh its content.

3.) Load your DST in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Load the finished DST on your CWT-L and CWT-R practice project to confirm the sheet configuration.

Result

The DST is fully configured with a sheet group linking its frame groups together, and loads correctly in Liftdesigner for the CWT-left and CWT-right project.
