Prerequisites
The traction machine record is prepared in the Datamanager.
Steps
1.) Create an elevator project with the practice specifications. Using the Shaft Wizard, create a project with:
5 floors, typical floor-to-floor distance 3000 mm
Consider travel: No; Create building floor levels: No
Traction elevator, 2:1 roping
13 persons / 1000 kg, 1 m/s
Machine room: Top
Car roping: 2 pulleys below, without counterweight safety gear
Counterweight roping: 1 pulley top, counterweight right
Car size: width 1600 mm, depth 1400 mm
2.) Load your edited traction machine. In DigiPara Liftdesigner, exchange the currently loaded traction machine for the new one you prepared in the previous steps.
3.) Save the gear under Favorites. Save your new gear under Favorites so you can find it quickly again later.
4.) Open the Developer Work Area. With the gear selected, click Develop This BIM Component. The Developer Work Area opens with its developer sections.
Result
A practice elevator project exists with your new traction machine loaded and saved under Favorites for quick access.
The traction machine is open in the Developer Work Area, ready to have its CAD model added.
