1.) Load your edited guide shoe in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Open the component navigator and load the guide shoe you copied and renamed.

2.) Load the Developer Work Area via the BIM Component. Select the guide shoe in an existing view frame and click Develop this BIM Component on the Develop BIM Components ribbon tab. Working in the Developer Work Area gives you access to the component's developer section and, where available, the explanation of the BIM component's 3D parameters.

The guide shoe is open in the Developer Work Area, ready to have its CAD model added.
