This graph displays the number of patents for each authority, visualized on a world map.
The color intensity is based on the number of patent families that cover that specific country, represented in absolute values and as a percentage relative to all analyzed patents. Organizations not related to a specific country are shown in the bottom area.

Suggestion:


Use this interactive chart to assess the activity of each country with respect to the analyzed patents. A patent family's global market coverage also directly correlates with its economic impact.

Patents families per authority

This graph represents the main authorities covered by the analyzed patents.
The horizontal axis lists the most frequently appearing authorities, in a descending order, and the vertical axis shows in absolute values the number of patent families that present that authority.

The vertical axis displays the top applicants based on the number of their patent families, while the horizontal axis represents the respective patent authorities. The heatmap's color intensity represents the number of patent family publications, with darker colors indicating a higher number of patent families published for a given applicant within a specific authority.
