There are various ways to refine your search:
Click on the graphs: All of the analytics are interactive, so you can click on any slice / bar or cell of the graphs to focus on that specific area. All of the other analytics will be automatically readjusted to display only the filtered results and the result list will be shortened accordingly.
Iterate your search: Once you have performed your search, go to the result list showing the 1000 most similar patents to your query. Glance through these patents and identify a patent which seems to be relevant at first sight. Click on the check box, and then on "Add to search". Immediately a new semantic search will be started, in which the full-text of these patent will be compared with all of the patents on our database. A new result list will be retrieved displaying the most similar patents to this last patent document.
Use Filters: The search results can be customized through several filter options: Keyword filter, applicant & IPC or CPC filter and date filter.
