Let's imagine that we're a VC investor looking for early-stage deep tech startups with strong technology and have a female founder. We'll also specify that the companies are European with no presence in the U.S. Here's how we can accomplish that π
First, we'll start on the company's page and click "Advanced Search."
Filtering by Market & Type
Scroll down to "Technologies"
Select "Deep Tech."
Defining Geographic Range:
Go to the "Location" screen.
Click "HQ" and choose "Europe."
Click "All" and select "United States."
Hover over the U.S. data point and click "Exclude."
Filtering by Company Size:
Go to the "Size" page.
Select "Seed" and "Early Growth."
Funding Timeline:
On the "Last Round Date" page, set funding to no later than the end of 2023.
Identifying Founders:
Go to the "Founders" page.
Filter by selecting "Female."
Interest in Patents:
On the "Patents" page, select companies with patents.
