35 credits per second without audio
70 credits per second with audio

An 8-second video generated with Veo 3.1 without audio consumes 280 credits.
The same 8-second video generated with audio consumes 560 credits.
So if higher-cost settings or models are used (for example, audio-enabled or premium models), credits will be consumed faster, which reduces the total number of videos you can generate within your monthly allowance.
The “up to 55 videos” refers to usage under more optimized conditions (such as shorter durations, no audio, or more credit-efficient models like the “Fast” versions).
