Overview
This article introduces the Mitigation Planner in Hyver — a tool that helps you evaluate the cost, effort, and effectiveness of various mitigation strategies. It lets you simulate the impact of fixing specific findings and visualize how attack routes would be disrupted.
You can use the planner to highlight high-priority findings, compare options, and create targeted mitigation plans.

This is the minimal set of fixes required to break paths to all business assets.
Disconnected routes appear grayed out.
Recommended: Leave this option enabled to prioritize high-impact actions.
Most Probable Route
Highlights the attack route with the highest likelihood of exploitation.
Appears as a dark blue dotted line.
Helps you identify a “quick win” — a likely path attackers would take.
Lowest Cost Level / Lowest Effort Level
Optional sliders to filter for findings that are cheapest or easiest to fix.
Highlights these with a black dotted line, helping you balance impact with feasibility.
