This article explains how to review or edit an existing engagement in Hyver — and which fields can still be changed based on the engagement’s status. You’ll also learn where to go to view engagement details like scope, members, and history.

What you can edit (and when)

Editing options depend on whether the engagement has been activated:

Before activation

If the engagement is still pending, you can update:

  • Engagement name

  • Assessment scope

  • Other fields in the General Details tab

After activation

Once the engagement is active, editing is limited to:

  • Scope

  • Members and groups


What can’t be changed

Some fields are locked once the engagement is created, regardless of status:

  • Engagement type

  • Assessment range (start and end dates)

  • Assessment frequency

Where to find engagement details

To explore or update engagement data, use the tabs on the engagement page:

  • General Details tab – View and edit the name or scope (before activation)

  • Scope tab – Define or adjust domains, IPs, or subnets

  • Members and Groups – Manage who has access

  • Assessments tab – Check assessment progress

  • History tab – Review changes and activity logs
