How to choose which login options are available for Hyver users.

Updated over 5 months ago

Overview

This article explains how administrators can define which login methods users can use to access Hyver. Setting clear authentication policies helps enforce your organization’s security standards while giving users a consistent login experience.

You’ll need admin access to update authentication methods.

Steps

  1. Go to Company Profile
Click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar, then select Company Profile.

  2. Choose authentication methods:

In the Authentication Methods for Users section, select one or more login options:

    • Username/password – Users log in with Hyver-specific credentials.

    • Microsoft – Users log in using their Microsoft account.

    • SSO – Users log in through a configured single sign-on provider.

  3. Click Save
Once you've selected the methods you want to support, save your changes to apply them.

Important notes

  • Only selected methods will appear on the login screen for your organization.

  • You can enable multiple options at once if your team uses a mix of identity providers.

Wrap-up / Next Steps

Controlling login methods helps balance user convenience with security. If you’re rolling out SSO or planning to deprecate passwords, be sure to communicate the change to your team in advance.
