Following a CAA proposal, the government will, at the end of the year, extend the Transitional and Legacy period to 1st January 2026.

Any A2 CofC certificates that show a transitional period up to 31st December 2022 will be valid for operations under the provisions of the transitional period.

If the A2 CofC expires prior to 1st January 2026, the A2 CofC holder will need to take the A2 CofC course again at a recognised
