Two different things get called the same thing here, and they have different answers.
An assessment and a service both have fixed prices, listed below. A repair is fixing something that's broken, and that can't be priced until the aircraft has been assessed.

The Elios 3 is priced the same whether you need an assessment or a service, so one charge covers it.
Where a dash appears we don't offer that option as a standard product, but ask and we'll price it. Same if you fly something not on the list.
A service covers one drone with a standard set of batteries and a controller. Extra batteries, controllers, payloads and accessories are £30 each. Return shipping by insured courier is £22 including VAT. You get a Certificate of Service at the end, which is worth having if you need to show a maintenance history.
A standard service is a 3 working day turnaround. Express is same day, provided the kit reaches us before 12pm.
Repairs
A repair starts with the assessment for your aircraft, at the price in the table. That covers stripping it down and finding out what's actually wrong, which is the only way to price the work honestly. It's payable before you send the drone in.
You then get a written quote for the repair itself. Nothing chargeable happens until you've approved it, and if you decide not to go ahead we'll send the aircraft back.
We won't guess at a figure beforehand, and there's a reason for that. Crash damage is rarely limited to what you can see. A cracked arm often comes with a bent motor mount or a strained ribbon cable, and quoting off a photo would mean revising the price later, which helps nobody.
What moves the repair cost
Parts, mostly. An enterprise airframe costs more than a consumer one, and a propeller or an arm is a much smaller job than a gimbal, a main board, or anything involving water.
Where the work happens matters too. We're an approved repair centre for DJI, Flyability and Parrot, so most of it is done here. If your model has been discontinued we may no longer stock the parts, in which case it goes to the manufacturer for assessment and repair and they quote separately. The assessment fee still applies, since it covers our handling either way.
How long a repair takes
Minor repairs are often completed within 7 working days of the assessment. Anything more involved, or anything that goes back to the manufacturer, takes longer, and parts availability is usually what decides it. We'll give you a timescale once the assessment is done and tell you if it changes.
Don't confuse that with the 3 working days above, which is the servicing turnaround rather than a repair.
Getting started
Fill in the form at coptrz.com/drone-repair with a description of the fault and some photos. We'll come back to arrange the assessment fee and send you shipping instructions. Don't post anything before we've confirmed where it's going, and don't post batteries at all without speaking to us first.
