Add-on required: AI:den+
User role required: Office staff and above
Region: US only
The Storm-Ready Generator Service Pro agent removes the manual admin involved in chasing generator maintenance bookings. It calls customers whose service is due, secures the booking, verifies the details, and briefs your technician, all without adding work for your office team.
The agent's goal is simple: when the grid goes down, your customer's generator starts. Every call is built around keeping their backup power ready and their warranty protected.
How the email-first sequence works
To keep costs down, the agent only calls customers who haven't responded to digital outreach:
Step 1 - Initial email reminder: An automated email is sent before the service is due, including a link to book online.
Step 2 - Voice escalation: If the customer hasn't booked, the agent calls them to secure the appointment.
The agent will not call a customer who has already booked their service.
How the agent adapts each call
The agent doesn't read a fixed script. It adjusts its conversation based on three things it knows about the customer and their generator.
Weather conditions
The agent uses regional weather data to match its urgency to the forecast:
Clear skies: The agent focuses on routine annual maintenance and keeping service records up to date.
Storm approaching: The agent shifts to pre-storm preparation, making sure the unit is ready before it's needed.
Active severe weather: The agent highlights the strain on the grid and the importance of a reliable backup.
Warranty status
Using the warranty end date field you map during setup, the agent picks the value pitch that fits:
Warranty active: The agent focuses on compliance, reminding the customer that documented service keeps their factory coverage valid.
Warranty expired: The agent focuses on reliability, highlighting the risk of wear, battery failure, or fuel system issues during an outage.
Generator brand
Using the make field you map during setup, the agent speaks knowledgeably about the customer's specific unit. If a customer asks what the service includes, the agent can reference checks relevant to their manufacturer, such as verifying remote monitoring connectivity on a Generac, performing the valve lash adjustment that Briggs & Stratton units need for cold-weather starting, or running a load bank test to confirm the generator can carry the whole house load.
How the agent verifies booking details
Once a time and date are agreed, the agent runs a quick data check to make sure the visit succeeds first time.
Address check: The agent confirms the property address. If it's wrong, the agent captures the correction and updates the property record.
Contact details: The agent confirms the email and phone number on file. If they've changed, it asks whether this is a permanent update or just for this visit. Permanent updates are saved to the customer record; one-off changes are added to the job notes only, so your master record stays clean.
Booking confirmation: If the customer provides a new email, the booking confirmation is sent to the new address.
When someone else answers
If the account holder isn't available, the agent asks whether the person answering can manage the booking, or whether it should call back. When a third party books the visit, the agent records their name in the job notes and captures their contact details, so arrival alerts and the booking confirmation reach the person actually coordinating the visit.
Backup contact
To prevent failed visits, the agent asks every customer whether there's a backup contact, such as a partner, neighbor, or keyholder, in case the technician can't reach them on the day. If one is provided, the agent saves the name and number to the job notes under a clear header, so your technician sees it on their job sheet before triggering a failed visit.
This is especially useful for seasonal residents who spend part of the year away from the property. They can nominate a local keyholder, so the visit goes ahead even while they're out of state.
Site access and safety details
Before wrapping up, the agent asks about gate codes, security instructions, pets, or anything else the technician should know before arriving. Everything the customer shares is captured in the job notes and visible on the technician's job sheet in the mobile app.
How the agent handles complex scenarios
Not every call is a straightforward booking. The agent follows strict protocols for sensitive situations.
Requests for a person: If the customer asks to speak to a human, the agent explains it can't transfer the call, ends the call politely, and creates a scheduled activity for your team to call back.
Sensitive issues: If the agent detects signs of bereavement, illness, or hardship, it responds with care, stops the chase sequence, and creates a scheduled activity so your team can review the situation sensitively.
Customer has moved: If the person answering says they've moved or sold the property, the agent thanks them, ends the call, sets the property record to dormant, and disables future service reminders for that property.
Inbound call-backs: If a customer missed the call and rings back, the agent recognizes the number, greets them by name, and references their property and generator brand before picking the booking back up.
Service history questions: If the customer asks when their generator was last serviced, the agent can give them the actual date from their record.
Commercial guardrails
The agent is built to protect your pricing and your reputation:
No discounts: The agent never haggles. If a customer challenges the price, it pivots back to the value of a professional, documented service.
Fixed scope: The agent books the maintenance visit only. It never speculates on repair costs; anything beyond the service is logged in the job notes for your team to quote separately.

Common questions
Does the agent tell customers it's an AI?
Does the agent tell customers it's an AI?
Whether the agent tells customers it's an AI is controlled by the Disclose as AI agent setting in Step 1 of the agent's configuration. When enabled, the agent confirms it is an automated assistant at the start of each call.
What happens if a customer asks for a discount?
What happens if a customer asks for a discount?
If a customer asks for a discount, the agent won't negotiate on price. It acknowledges the question and refocuses the conversation on the value of the service, such as warranty protection and reliable backup power. Your pricing stays exactly as you set it.
What happens if someone other than the account holder answers?
What happens if someone other than the account holder answers?
If someone other than the account holder answers, the agent checks whether they're able to manage the booking. If they are, the agent books the visit with them, records their name in the job notes, and sends the confirmation to their contact details. If not, the agent arranges to reach the account holder instead.
