SMS templates allow you to create specific messages you can send to customers. Being able to set communications that are precise and constant is important for maintaining relationships and keeping consistent contact with your customers. This setting allows you to set multiple templates that your company can use in relation to jobs, reaching out to customers, etc.
View Setting
➡️ Profile Icon > Settings > Customers > Customer SMS Templates > View.
Add an SMS Template
To add a new SMS template, follow the steps below.
Add your template by giving the SMS template a title (this is internal).
Add your description (the message that will be sent to the customer).
You can use the tagging system here to help with template creation.
Use an external website to count the number of characters you've used, ensuring you stay within the SMS credit limits.
Click Add customer SMS template upon adding the above details.
Note:
All SMS sent from the system will use your SMS credits.
1 SMS credit equals 160 characters for SMS messages.
Tags will be replaced with other text, so the actual SMS may have more or fewer characters than shown in the template.
Managing Customer SMS Templates
Upon adding the customer SMS Templates, they will be displayed on the left side of the page, where they can be managed.
To edit the customer SMS templates,
➡️ Click Edit > Amend > Click Save customer SMS template
To delete the customer SMS templates,
➡️ Click Delete > Type delete > Click Delete
If you are unable to delete an entry, the system will provide a reason.
