Commusoft system requirements

Review the system requirements for Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices to ensure optimal performance, including specifications for Tap to Pay.

Updated over a week ago

Meeting Commusoftโ€™s system requirements ensures adequate performance and prevents potential issues, allowing for efficient use now and in the future.

For the best experience, we recommend using devices that exceed the minimum specifications listed below.

Windows | macOS requirements

To ensure the desktop application runs smoothly in your office, your computers should meet the following specifications.

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent

  • RAM: 8GB

  • Operating system: Must be a valid license supported by the provider

    • ๐Ÿ”— Check if your operating system version is supported: Windows | macOS

  • Browser: Google Chrome (Recommended) or Safari

    • Latest browser version is required.

  • Display resolution: 1280 x 768

The web application interface may look different from Help Centre screenshots depending on your browser, resolution, and zoom settings.

Mobile device requirements

Field staff rely on the mobile app for daily tasks. Using devices that meet these standards ensures seamless performance.

Jailbroken or rooted devices are not supported.

Android phone and tablet

  • Android OS: 12 or above

  • Hardware:

    • RAM: 3GB

    • Internal Storage: 32GB

    • Internet Connection: 4G or higher

    • Display: 5.5" screen or larger

iPhone and iPad

  • Apple OS: 17 or above

  • iPhone Hardware: iPhone XS / XS Max / XR (2018 releases) or newer

  • iPad Hardware: iPad 6th Gen / Air 3rd Gen / Mini 5th Gen / Pro 2nd Gen or newer

Tap to Pay requirements

To use the Tap to Pay feature, your device must meet the supported specifications or model requirements listed above and include functional NFC hardware. Android tablets and iPads often lack the NFC functionality required for Tap to Pay. Ensure you review the device specifications to see if it has the required hardware.

Stripe requirements

Stripe facilitates the Tap to Pay feature. While many of their requirements mirror Commusoft's, reviewing their specific criteria is essential to ensure full compatibility.

If Commusoft provides a higher requirement for any specification, the device should meet these requirements.
