Common Login Issues and Troubleshooting Tips

I can't remember my password

If you can't remember the password to your Coinmetro account, don't worry. You can recover your password in just a few simple steps.

  • On the login screen, select "Forgot Password?"

  • Enter the email address registered to your Coinmetro account

  • Select "Send Instructions" if you're on the app or "Send Email" on web to receive the password recovery email

  • Follow the steps in the email to recover your password.

The login button is greyed out

If the Login button appears greyed out, this is usually caused by a browser or device-related issue rather than a problem with your account. Common causes include:

  • Browser compatibility: An outdated or unsupported browser may prevent the login button from activating. Please ensure you are using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.

  • Browser extensions or ad-blockers: Some extensions can interfere with website functionality. We recommend temporarily disabling extensions or trying an incognito/private window.

  • Cached data or cookies: Corrupted or outdated cache and cookies can cause functionality issues. Clearing your browser cache and cookies often resolves this.

  • Autofill or password managers: In some cases, autofill tools can prevent the login form from recognising input correctly. Please try manually entering your email address and password.

  • VPN usage: If you are connected to a VPN, this may interfere with the login process or prevent the page from loading correctly. Please try disabling the VPN temporarily and then attempting to log in again.

If the issue continues after trying the above, please contact our customer support team via either live chat on our website or via email at hello@coinmetro.com.

Access to my account is suspended

If you are receiving the message "Access to your account has been suspended" when trying to log into your account, and you do not have two Coinmetro accounts, this means that we are unfortunately unable to provide our services to you.

Why has my account been suspended?

Please note that there are a variety of reasons we may not be able to provide our services. However, due to standards in the financial industry, we do not disclose the specific reason for account closure. You can review Coinmetro's Terms of Use for common situations.

Do You Have a Duplicate Account?

If you have created more than one Coinmetro account, please try to log in with your other credentials. Your account may have been suspended because you already have one active and verified Coinmetro account.
