While we strongly recommend keeping 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled for maximum security, there may be situations where you need to temporarily disable it, such as switching devices or troubleshooting access issues.

Disabling 2FA removes the extra verification step from your account, so it should only be done when necessary.

⚠️ Before You Disable 2FA

Before turning off 2FA, please keep the following in mind:

  • Your account will be less secure without 2FA enabled

  • You will need access to your current 2FA app to disable it

  • If you are switching devices, it is recommended to set up new 2FA immediately after disabling it
