Add a Dataspace

Adding a new Catena-X Dataspace in Dataspace OS enables secure and efficient data integration, processing, and sharing.

Requirements

To follow the next steps, make sure you have your Business Partner Number (BPNL) ready from your Cofinity-X Portal Account. You will find your BPNL in Your Account in the section Personal Information.

Step 1 - The Dataspaces View

From the menu select Dataspaces.

This view allows you to add core services to selected dataspaces.

Use ๏น€ or > to collapse or to expand the dataspace information.

Step 2 - Add a Dataspace

  1. Select Add Dataspace.
    The new dataspace is set up in the dialog.

  2. Fill in the required fields.

    • Default - If activated, this dataspace is automatically selected as the default dataspace in other dialogues.

    • Name - Name of this dataspace.

    • Type - Type of this dataspace. Currently, TRACTUSX will be used by default and cannot be changed.

    • Version - The version of this dataspace.

    • BPN (Business Partner Number) - Your BPNL from your Cofinity-X Portal Account.

  3. Finish the entry by selecting Add.

NOTE

It is recommended to use the latest version.

Next Steps

After adding a dataspace, the next step is to Add Core Services. The core services provide basic operations, such as sharing your membership information with your partners or other participants of Catena-X Network.
