Common Roles

Company Admin

The Company Admin is responsible for registering connectors, configuring the company and managing users to ensure smooth operation.

CX User

The CX User is a standard network user, suitable for most individuals. They can explore services and access business applications but cannot create agreements or order services.

Purchaser

The Purchaser can subscribe to apps and services through the marketplace.

IT Admin

The IT Admin oversees the IT operations between the corporate network and Catena-X, handling IdP configuration, technical user management and connector configuration.

Business Admin

The Business Admin can subscribe to apps on behalf of the company and has access to the Marketplace. This access allows them to request app and service subscriptions and invite new portal users.

Company specific roles: App- and Service Provider

App Manager

The App Manager can add, delete, and modify apps.

Service Manager

The Service Manager manages offered services by adding new ones, assigning Sales Managers, and retiring services as needed.

App Developer

App Developer is able to explore the network (like the CX User) and has on top access to the developer guidlines.

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is involved in the app/service sales process and receives notifications of subscription requests.
