How to tip and receive tips

Cloudbet’s tipping feature lets you tip others to show support and appreciation in the spirit of crypto.

How to send a tip

To send tips, your account needs to be verified and reach at least Bronze 1. Ghost Mode must be turned off.

Tip from chat

To tip from chat, you’ll need the username of the user you’re tipping.

  1. On the site, select the chat icon.

  2. In the message box, enter /tip @, followed by the username.

  3. Select the following:

    • Active Balance: Choose an active currency.

    • Share to chat: Keep it on to share your tip to Cloudbet Chat. Toggle it off to keep it private.

    • Amount: Toggle to set the tipping amount.

  4. Select Tip to confirm.

You’ll be notified once the recipient claims your tip.

Tip from live feed

  1. From the live feed, select a username.

  2. Select Send tip.

  3. Select the following:

    • Active Balance: Choose an active currency.

    • Share to chat: Keep it on to share your tip to Cloudbet Chat. Toggle it off to make it private.

    • Amount: Toggle to set the tipping amount.

  4. Select Tip to confirm.

You’ll be notified once the recipient claims your tip.

How to claim a tip

  1. Select Claim Tip.

  2. Select Accept tip.

The tip will be credited to your account immediately. You'll have 72 hours to claim a tip once someone has sent it.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a daily limit for sending tips?

Yes, the daily tipping limit is US$100 (or equivalent in other currencies) per user. This limit resets every 24 hours.

Can I cancel a tip after sending it?

No, you can’t cancel a tip once you send it.

Is tipping anonymous?

Not entirely. The recipient will always see your username when you tip. However, you can keep your tip private from the chat by toggling off the Share to chat option in the prompt.
