Clear.bio is reimbursed in the supplementary health insurance of Zilveren Kruis: Extra Vitaal. However, you still pay separately for the sensor (or purchase it yourself). Read more about it here (Dutch).

Within basic care, Clear.bio is reimbursed within the ketenzorg. Patients with a chronic condition are treated for a longer period of time. This treatment often requires multiple special care providers. This is called 'ketenzorg'. This also applies to diabetes type 2. For reimbursement of ketenzorg, we must conclude a contract with care groups. A care group is an organization that includes general practitioners. At the moment, we are reimbursed by Rijnmond Dokters (Rotterdam region), HZG Breda and HWF (West Friesland). Do you have a general practitioner in this area? Then you can do Clear.bio for free by asking for a referral from your general practitioner or practice assistant (POH-S).

If you live in a different area, it is unfortunately not yet possible to follow the Clear.bio treatment. Of course, you can refer your general practitioner to our treatment. We have a page with information for care providers.

As a patient, you can put yourself on the waiting list. This way, we will keep you informed when Clear.bio is reimbursed by your GP.
