From within your chosen site, from the left-hand navigation, click on the link "Consumption". This will present you with all of your existing Consumption Trees. As highlighted in the screenshot, you will see (in blue text) "Add New" and clicking on this will create a new consumption tree ready for you to populate.
Simply fill in the required fields and click "Lock" on the right to lock in your selection. The fields for completion are Name, Quantity, Subject and Display Unit. Quantity is the entity that you consume that you wish to represent in a Consumption Tree and the available choices are "Apparent Energy, Energy, Mass, Reactive Energy, Volume, Volume (Normalised) and Volume (Standardised). The "Display Unit" field is directly related to the choice you make in the Quantity field, so, if you chose "Energy" then the display units available for you to choose from will be related to energy, kJ, MWh etc.
Once you have completed this information, click "Lock" - this is important because you will not be able to add in data sources until you lock in your selection.
β
Once you lock in a selection a tree will be started and data sources will become available on the right-side menu.
β
βImportant Note: The boxes outlined in green will be the name of that particular group.
New groups can be created by clicking the + button within that box
These groups can be renamed by clicking the word you want to adjust and then typing a new name.
By typing in the filter section on the right side we can filter our data sources to find what we are looking for. Now you can drag and drop the data sources into the consumption tree under the appropriate group!
β
Simply click "update" on the top right to save any new updates, then click close to view your consumption tree.
